Our Story

Natural Wood Solutions and J&J Lumber Co. have partnered to create the Tree-to-Track™ program for Railroad and Commercial Specialty Products.

Anchored on 80+ years of wood science, lumber production, and natural resource experience, Tree-to-Track™ was developed with a shared passion bound by ethics, morals, and pride in producing the highest-quality product backed by superior customer service.

This program utilizes old-growth, dense Southern Yellow Pine timbers and lumber for bridges, specialty ties, and other high-end products. We provide dense, kiln-dried material sourced from managed timberlands. The timber tracks are cruised using protocols that meet the quality requirements for the production of dense SYP material. The logs are then manufactured and flow through the Tree to Track™ protocol developed by our experts in this unique partnership.
